Where do I find my current electricity rate?
Your rate is shown on your monthly electricity bill, usually listed as "Energy Charge" or "Price per kWh". You can also find it on your plan's Electricity Facts Label (EFL), which your provider is required to give you.
Are there any fees to switch providers?
If you're on a fixed-rate plan, you may have an Early Termination Fee (ETF) if you switch before your contract ends. However, many plans have no ETF or allow switching when you're within 14 days of your contract expiration.
